Global Paid Media Strategist – Ericsson
Are you passionate about delivering impactful paid media campaigns on a global stage? Ericsson is looking for a Global Paid Media Strategist to help shape and execute our paid and social media activities, ensuring innovative, data-driven, and effective campaigns across digital channels.
This role is part of the Paid & Social Media team within Group Function Marketing, reporting to the Global Head of Paid & Social Media. You’ll play an important role in advancing Ericsson’s digital media excellence, making sure our paid media investments drive engagement, efficiency, and business growth.
What you will do
1. Paid Media Strategy & Innovation
Support the development and execution of global paid media strategies in line with Ericsson’s business priorities.
Identify opportunities to test new ideas, formats, and platforms, including AI and automation.
Keep up to date with paid media trends, audience behaviors, and platform innovations.
Ensure paid media activations reflect our brand and maintain a high level of creativity.
2. Paid & Social Media Execution
Coordinate the planning, activation, and optimization of paid campaigns across key channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Meta, programmatic, SEM).
Help manage content distribution and audience engagement on social platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams to align paid media with global marketing campaigns and events.
Work closely with media agencies and partners to ensure performance and efficiency.
3. Performance Measurement & Optimization
Contribute to measurement frameworks, ensuring campaigns are insight-led and data-driven.
Partner with analytics teams to review results and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support testing initiatives to refine targeting, creative formats, and budget allocation.
Help ensure brand safety and compliance in all paid media activities.
4. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work with regional teams and business units to ensure alignment and consistency in paid media approach.
Share knowledge on paid media trends, tools, and best practices with colleagues.
Foster a collaborative, curious, and forward-looking approach to paid media planning and execution.
Skills you bring
Around 4–6 years of experience in paid media strategy, planning, or activation, preferably in a B2B or technology-driven environment.
Comfortable working with data to inform decisions and optimize performance.
Experience working with agencies and media technology partners.
Collaborative and communicative, with the ability to work effectively across teams and regions.
A proactive problem-solver who brings both creative and analytical thinking.
