Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and professional headwaiter to join our exceptional front-of-house team. At TAK, every detail matters, and as a headwaiter, you will be integral to delivering a seamless and elevated dining experience for our guests.
Who We Are Looking For
- Lead and Deliver Exceptional Service: Act as the senior point of contact on the floor, ensuring service runs smoothly, standards are upheld, and every guest enjoy a seamless, elevated dinning experie
- Menu Expertise: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of TAK’s menu, including food pairings, sake, and beverage offerings, to confidently guide and inspire guests
- Upselling & Recommendations: Coach the team on upselling techniques and pairing suggestions that add value to the guest experience while driving sales
- Operational Excellence: Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timing, flow, and presentation of dishes are precise and in line with TAK standards
- Problem-Solving & Decision- Making: Address guest feedback and service challenges promptly and professionally, taking ownership of solutions
- Floor Coordination: Manage table turns, and oversee service pacing to maximize both guests satisfaction and operational efficiency
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who embody professionalism, passion, and a commitment to excellence.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience: Proven experience as a headwaiter, or similar leadership position in high-end restaurants or similar environments, with a strong focus on delivering impeccable service
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English or Swedish. Additional language skills are a plus
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire, coach, and direct a team during high-pressure service while maintaining composure and positivity
- Attention to Detail: Skilled at maintaining service excellence, anticipating guest needs, and upholding presentation standards
- Clear Communication: Confident in leading pre-service briefings, giving constructive feedback, and communicating between FOH and BOH teams
- Work Ethic: Punctual, dependable, and willing to go above and beyond for both guests and the team
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

This position is available as both hourly or seasonal.
