Assignment Overview
An experienced Business Intelligence Program Lead is sought to oversee the management, development, and maintenance of financial data reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and driving actionable insights through effective visual reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Report Maintenance & Accuracy
Ensure existing Power BI reports are kept up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with current business needs.

Report Design & Development
Lead the creation of new reports and dashboards to support evolving finance and business intelligence requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Gather reporting requirements through close engagement with business stakeholders.

Act as the liaison between finance, data engineering, and analytics teams to ensure alignment and clarity.

Promote cross-functional teamwork to drive BI initiatives forward.

✅ Quality Assurance
Define quality control and testing processes for report development.

Conduct pre-release testing to verify report functionality and accuracy.

Documentation & Enablement
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data logic, sources, and update cycles.

Provide training and support to stakeholders on report usage and interpretation, and enable self-service capabilities.

Required Qualifications
Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

Solid knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing principles.

Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Desirable Experience
Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).

Understanding of Azure Data Services or cloud-based data platforms.

Background in project management or agile development environments.
