Job Summary
As Internal Communications Manager – Communications Integration, you are responsible for supporting internal communication efforts by the Communication teams across 27 markets, promoting consistency, quality, and alignment with the global narrative. You will work as a central enabler for local internal communications teams, strengthening storytelling, platform effectiveness, and employee engagement through strategic integration and expert support. You will also act as a strategic connector between global communications teams and local market communicators, enabling the effective amplification of key messages, campaigns, and initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you need to be based within the EMEA time zone, in a country where Tetra Pak has an established legal entity
What you will do
- Strategic integration & governance:
Promote the alignment of internal messaging and narrative delivery across all markets, reinforcing our purpose, strategy, and values in a consistent and engaging way. - Connector Between Markets and Global Functions:Act as the bridge between local markets and global communication teams across functions such as HR, Product Supply (PS), PSE, and Sustainability. Support global teams in cascading key campaigns, leadership messages, and initiatives by adapting and activating them through local internal channels. Ensure two-way communication by bringing local feedback and insights back to global teams to improve future planning and execution.
- Editorial leadership:
Oversee the editorial quality of internal news across all regions by managing content workflows and supporting local teams with reviews, rewrites, and recommendations.
Act as editor for global storytelling initiatives, ensuring tone of voice and clarity are aligned with our brand and communication guidelines. - Platform management & optimization:
Manage and continuously improve the internal communication ecosystem, including intranet (Orbis), Viva Engage, internal newsletters, and digital signage.
Coordinate with local teams to update and maintain intranet pages across all 27 markets, ensuring accurate, standardized, and useful content. - Consulting and Market Enablement:
Serve as a strategic partner to internal communications professionals in local markets.
Provide direct support with storytelling, leadership messages, campaigns, crisis/internal announcements, and other internal communications needs.
Deliver best practices and guidance for planning, messaging, and use of internal tools. - Data & Performance:
Define and monitor performance metrics related to reach, engagement, and content quality.
Produce regular reports and insights to continuously improve the impact of internal communications globally. - Communications Business Partner to the Market Comms VP:Support the development and execution of strategic communication plans, including internal initiatives like meetings with all Comms team and leadership content, and external visibility through LinkedIn. Lead employee engagement efforts—survey analysis, action planning, and reporting.
We believe you have
- Proven experience in internal communications within complex, global organizations
- Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Viva Engage, Outlook, and Teams
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate a dynamic, matrixed environment
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and a truly international outlook
- Fluent in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and processes across multiple markets
- High level of cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively across geographies and time zones
- Must be based within the EMEA time zone, in a country where Tetra Pak has a legal entity
