As an Air Logistics Operational Care Team Leader, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Operational Care Centre, ensuring high-quality shipment execution and process management. You’ll lead a team focused on delivering customer satisfaction while optimizing costs and driving continuous improvement across airfreight operations.
How you create impact
- Lead and manage the Operational Care Centre team.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with Kuehne+Nagel standards and air transport regulations.
- Monitor performance and improve data and execution quality.
- Resolve escalated issues and drive sustainable solutions.
- Optimise profitability through cost control and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Care, Sales, Optimization, Gateway, Customs) and external partners (carriers, suppliers, brokers).
- Support procurement and carrier relationship management.
- Contribute to pricing strategies and RFQ preparation.
- Drive process improvements and system optimization.
- Support account implementation and customer development.
What we would like you to bring
- Few years of experience in air logistics or freight forwarding.
- Proven leadership experience (direct and virtual), with strong managerial skills in organizing, planning, and decision-making.
- High-level knowledge of freight forwarding operations and import-export regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Commercial acumen and a performance-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to team leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement.
- Fluent in Swedish and advanced proficiency in English; willingness to travel as required.
