What you’ll do at Elekta
The Verification Engineer is involved in all phases of the verification process covering planning, specification, automation, execution
and reporting of all verification activities in product creation projects and modification of existing products.
The Verification Engineer works in close collaboration with the design team to develop testable design and provides early feedback
about the performance of the developed products.
Test tool development, configuration management and requirements are also important parts of the verification engineering role.
Responsibilities:
- To participate in all activities of a development project, with emphasis on test and verification, requirements engineering, risk analysis, documentation, and configuration management, whilst following company standards
- Design, writing, executing and maintenance of manual and automated software tests
- Perform exploratory and regression testing
- To identify defects and report bugs with a deep attention to details
- To maintain and support test tools and test environments.
- To develop and validate the test tools
- To create and review verification documents
- To review test code, drawings and other design related technical product documents
- Contribute-to technical testing strategies or workflow improvements
- Perform evaluations of technologies, methodologies, and products
- To follow the technical and clinical evolution within the field
Authorities:
- To participate in the definition and verification of products
- To approve verification documents according to approved document plans
- To manage the test tools and test environments
- To review and approve verification documents according to approved document plans
- To review code, drawings, and other design related documents
- To review technical product documents
Relevant knowledge, skills and competencies:
- Bachelor or M. Sc. Degree or Technical University Graduate in relevant engineering discipline.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
