Could you be the full-time Team Leader System Engineering in Stockholm we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Trackside System Engineering Manager, and work alongside motivated and supportive teammates.
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality trackside solutions within a dynamic environment. You'll lead the team of System Engineers and Requirement Managers with responsibility of the System Engineering activities e.i. System Architecture, Requirement Management, Interface Specifications etc. in our Trackside signalling projects.
You’ll be involved in ensuring that the team has the necessary resources for optimal performance, focusing on effective workflows, skills development and appropriate staffing. Also, you’ll make sure that your team has the right environment and capability to ensure Quality and On time delivery.
We’ll look to you for:
- Lead and manage a team of System Engineers to ensure that we provide the right solutions in our projects and in our product roadmaps for both Swedish and International markets.
- Build an innovative and agile team with an increasing portfolio.
- Ensure continuous improvements in both quality and functionality.
- Oversee project/product roadmaps in collaboration with our solution team and project management organization, resource allocation for projects, bids and product analysis to meet timelines and quality standards.
- Foster collaboration among Engineering teams worldwide, stakeholders, and customers to identify project requirements and objectives.
- Develop ways of working to adhere to Alstom processes and tools to be aligned with all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Safety regulations, Environmental standards, and Quality Assurance processes.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle of applicable System Engineering deliveries.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience in leading Engineering teams, specifically related to transportation or rail systems, delivering in critical projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven skills in Stakeholder management
- Track record in successful Team development.
- English language skills are mandatory. Swedish is an advantage.
