What's the role?
As a System Engineer specializing in nodes at Manta, you will be instrumental in the development of our autonomous underwater systems. Your focus will be on designing, building, and integrating ocean bottom nodes that operate in challenging marine environments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating on system architecture and design.
- Developing firmware and software for hardware integration.
- Testing and validating systems to ensure performance and reliability in real-world conditions.
- Working with cross-functional teams to enhance product functionality.
Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- Strong background in systems engineering, with experience in underwater robotics or related fields.
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in systems design and software development.
- Familiarity with marine sensors, data acquisition systems, and real-time processing.
