Your Mission
As a Student Assistant in Billing & Collection at Mercell, you will be part of the Invoice Task Force (ITF) and report to the Billing & Collection Manager. ITF is a team of dedicated professionals responsible for timely and accurate handling of invoice dispute cases with our collection partner. You will collaborate closely with Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to ensure alignment, consistency, and efficiency across the collection process.
As our new Student Assistant, you will have an exciting and impactful role where you will contribute to reducing invoice dispute cases backlog, ensuring seamless dispute handling, and preventing the future accumulation of unresolved cases.

Core Responsibilities
- Efficiently resolve dispute cases with our collection partner in alignment with standard operating procedures
- Reduce the existing backlog and ensure seamless case handling during peak and vacation periods
- Collaborate closely with Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and Product to ensure alignment across the commercial stack
- Use key information sources (NetSuite, HubSpot, Jira, MonetizeNow) to investigate, validate, and resolve disputes effectively
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student in Business, Finance, or a related degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to navigate and learn multiple digital tools quickly (NetSuite, HubSpot, Jira, MonetizeNow)
- Proficient in Swedish & English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with customer support is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Interest in systems, process improvement and operational efficiency
- Adaptable to changing priorities and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
Start date: As soon as possible / Approximately by 01/09-2025
Duration: Temporary part time
