About the Position
As Startup Scouting & Automation Intern at Sting, you’ll play a key role in helping us find and support the next generation of startups while also improving the tools and processes that make that possible.
You’ll work at the intersection of startup scouting and process automation. This means helping us identify and track promising early-stage companies, while also building smarter, more automated ways to do it. From cleaning and optimizing HubSpot to setting up new automations in Make, you’ll help us streamline our sourcing, data management, and outreach workflows.
This is a paid, part-time role, perfect for someone who’s curious about startups, loves experimenting with no-code tools, and wants hands-on experience in the Nordic tech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research startups that could be a fit for Sting, with a focus on climate, health, and deep tech.
- Help design and automate sourcing workflows so that the right startups are always on our radar.
- Build and maintain automations in Make (or similar tools) to reduce manual work.
- Clean and structure data in HubSpot and find creative ways to automate that process.
- Explore new AI tools and test how they can help with scouting, data management, and outreach.

Experience & Skills
- HubSpot (or similar CRM):
You’ve worked with HubSpot or a similar CRM, and know how to set up pipelines, create custom properties, build workflows, and keep data clean and actionable. -
Automation Tools (e.g. Make):
You have some hands-on experience and a lot of curiosity when it comes to using automation tools like Make to automate tasks and streamline processes. -
Sourcing & Research:
You’re comfortable doing research and know how to work creatively, even when information is limited.
