As a Snowflake Architect you will act as a creative contributor to our data analysis and scalability processes. You will use your experience and expertise to provide key insights that help us make data-driven decisions. Your focus will be on collecting large amounts of data using analytical, statistical, and programmable skills. It is their responsibility to use data to develop solutions tailored to meet the organization's unique needs.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Snowflake environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in design discussions with Architects, Security teams ,Development teams
- Design and implement Snowflake security models.
- Provide hands on Database administration and support of the Snowflake platform.
- Identify and implement Snowflake monitoring and maintenance best practices.
- Cost Parameters evaluations and optimization
- Manage Snowflake ecosystem with a primary focus of supporting Enterprise Snowflake databases and associated tools in the data ecosystems.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture (warehouses, databases, roles, security).
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing Snowflake databases.
- Experience in query performance tuning and resource optimization.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cost management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
