Are you an experienced production manager ready to take full responsibility and drive the development of our site forward? At Rollmek AB, part of Permobil, we are looking for a Site Manager who is passionate about continuous improvement, operational excellence, and inspiring leadership.
About the Role
As Site Manager, you will ensure we meet both short- and long-term targets by prioritizing delivery, safety, quality, and cost. You will challenge the organization to stay in constant motion, reduce waste, and support commercial activities in the market. At site, we have around 30 employees and in your team you will have engineers and production leader. You will ensure compliance and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). You are located in Kalmar, on site and are reporting to Sr Director Operational Excellence & PU, organization Operations EMEA
Key Duties
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Evaluate and adjust capacity and costs to match demand forecasts
Coach and lead the team to manage opportunities and challenges for profitable growth
Support the sales team in Sweden and Norway
Proactively develop a strong safety culture
Ensure regulatory and quality requirements are met
Address Quality, Health & Safety issues
Set and follow up on budgets and cost levels
Provide direction and leadership to the local organization
Ensure the right capabilities and results from the site team
Maintain certifications and compliance with QMS
Be the link between site and R&D regarding technical documentation
Manage P&L according to agreed budget

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Manager or in a similar operations role
- Strong technical and/or commercial background
- Excellent knowledge in production and operations, flow production, and lean principles
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluent in Swedish and english
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and developing teams
- Ability to identify and solve problems, and implement effective solutions
