We are looking for a Senior Project Risk Manager. You’ll be working within the Project Delivery function, providing support to the Risk and Opportunities Lead and project teams. The role requires excellent personal and interpersonal skills, and you will be at the core of our project delivery team, working across the full lifecycle of greenfield and brownfield projects. This role supports all aspects of risk management, ensuring that both qualitative and quantitative risk insights guide decision-making and delivery planning. A strong background in capital projects, excellent facilitation skills, and the ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary teams are essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk plans for capital projects across all lifecycle phases (FEL1 to execution).
- Facilitate structured assessments, project risk workshops, and update risk registers.
- Plan and facilitate Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) workshops and model capital risk profiles.
- Perform integrated cost and schedule QRA using industry tools such as Safran Risk and @RISK.
- Oversee project risk registers to ensure proactive mitigation.
- Support risk-based decision-making at project and program levels.
- Provide coaching and training on risk principles and collaborate with project functions.
- Assess project environments and tailor risk management plans.
- Lead specialized risk reviews and manage reporting to stakeholders.
- Document lessons learned and ensure compliance with ISO-based risk frameworks.
Key Requirements
- A university degree in Project Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification in risk or project management (e.g., PMI-RMP, PMI-PMP, MoR, AACE DRMP, or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus).
- 15+ years of experience in project or risk management roles within capital-intensive sectors.
- Strong facilitation experience for risk identification workshops and project assessments.
- Practical application of quantitative cost and schedule risk models.
- Understanding of international risk management standards and frameworks.
- Experience with modern risk management tools and platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills and operational risk management knowledge are a plus.

- Experience in conducting technical risk reviews including HAZOPs.
- Operational risk management knowledge.

This is a 1-year position based in Stockholm, focusing on capital projects in infrastructure and heavy industrial sectors. Remote work options may be considered.
