About the Role
As a Senior Group Accountant, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our month-end close process, leading consolidated reporting efforts, and maintaining meticulous daily bookkeeping. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation, experience in multi-entity environments, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the month-end and year-end close processes for group entities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations
- Drive group-level consolidation of financial results and assist in management reporting
- Oversee daily bookkeeping activities, including timely recording of bank transactions
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting systems and processes
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a group or multi-entity setting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP)
- Proficiency in general ledger systems and accounting software
- Experience working with Qlik Sense and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
- Preferred: International accounting exposure or experience working with global teams
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data accuracy
