Job Overview
We're seeking a driven Senior JavaScript Engineer who is passionate about crafting immersive gaming experiences with an architectural mindset. As a developer, you thrive on finding the best solutions—always with both a short- and long-term perspective in mind. You understand when to build something that meets today’s needs, and when to invest in scalable, forward-thinking solutions that improve efficiency over time. You feel comfortable navigating technical discussions and can clearly articulate and defend your ideas with sound reasoning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new game features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimise game and framework for speed, maintainability and quality
- Analysing and solving development and production problems
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Typescript and Javascript
- Experience in frontend development tools such as Webpack, jEST, etc
- Experience in writing performant, high quality and reusable code
- Experience and interest in code quality practices
- Experience in working with large and complex projects
Bonus Skills
- Canvas and WebGL experience
- C#
- Hands-on experience in game development
- Knowledge in building applications both for mobile and desktop browsers
- Understanding of the entire build and release chain, from code to final product
- Experience in automation techniques and tools
- Experience with versioning tools, such as Bitbucket
- University degree in Computer Science or similar
