Danske Bank’s Personal Customers Compliance team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced team, committed to the highest standards of regulatory compliance and risk management, while also serving as the Compliance Responsible Person for our mortgage company, Danske Hypotek.
About the role:
In this position, you will advise on regulatory matters related to the personal customer business, with a focus on the Swedish market. You will play a key role in ensuring fair customer treatment and regulatory compliance, collaborating across local and Nordic teams on cross-border projects.
Your responsibilities will also include overseeing compliance for Danske Hypotek, managing areas like regulatory engagement, data protection, financial crime, and sanctions screening.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the Compliance Responsible Person for Danske Hypotek.
- Drive initiatives that safeguard our reputation and commitment to customers.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and frameworks.
- Monitor compliance risks and provide insights for improvement.
Who we are looking for:
We seek a structured, analytical, and proactive individual with high integrity and sound judgment. You should be skilled in stakeholder management and enjoy building relationships. We see that you are positive, collaborative, and comfortable representing the Compliance team at key committees.
You have:
- Degree in law, economics, finance, or similar.
- 4-5 years of experience in compliance, ideally in banking or investment sectors.
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, able to engage and persuade at all levels.
- Knowledge in areas such as financial crime, investor protection, customer protection, conflict of interest, or market abuse is a plus.
