The Senior Account Manager Sweden will be responsible for managing key client accounts. This individual will drive sales growth, build strong relationships with clients, and identify opportunities to expand product offerings and maximize revenue. The Senior Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and objectives to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.
This Senior Account Manager will also assume the responsibilities of Managing Director for PDx’ legal entity in Sweden.
Key responsabilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Understand holistic hospital environment and customer segmentation to enable effective overall customer relationship.
- Own, manage and nurture existing relationships with customers including opportunities to grow share.
- Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges, and proactively address them to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating communication and managing expectations effectively.
- Drive effective balance of face-to-face vs digital customer meetings.
- Support effective medical education programs and congress programs.
- Triage customer queries to relevant team within a matrixed environment.
Sales Forecasting and Revenue Generation:
- Pipeline forecast and demand planning being sure to negotiate prices within the range specified by the Sales Manager.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Define and review annual account plans and ensure a disciplined execution against these plans.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, analysing sales data and trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Create and follow up on new customer leads (including procurement and hospital management.)
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining client satisfaction. Being sure to partner with contract shared service throughout contract/tender process.
- Utilize tools and software to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and maintain up-to-date records. Deployment of relevant tools. For example, use Salesforce and Vistex (Contract Pricing and Quoting/Contract Lifecycle Management) to support and enable successful commercial activity.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Collect in-field customer and competitor insights for provision to Sales Manager and Marketing
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the pharmaceutical sector.
Managing Director
- Represent PDx Sweden in in- and external statutory or legal oriented meetings.
- Manage the associated administration of the legal entity.
- Attend regular Board of Directors meeting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Fluent in Swedish (native) and English, both written and spoken.
- Based in southern Sweden with the flexibility to travel regularly across the region. Available to travel to Stockholm as needed, typically 1–2 times per month.
- Proven commercial acumen, with a track record of driving business growth and customer engagement
- Extensive experience in the healthcare sector, with a strong focus on medical imaging diagnostics—particularly in radiology and/or molecular imaging
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is considered a plus
