Position: RGM & Category Manager
Location: Stockholm, Sweden, Hybrid


About the Position

Flora Food Group is seeking an experienced and influential RGM & Category Manager – Nordics, based at our Stockholm office on Döbelnsgatan 24. In this pivotal leadership role, you will shape category growth and commercial strategy across the Nordic cluster, delivering insight-led solutions and accelerating revenue growth across our market-leading brands in spreads, plant butter, and creams.

You will lead a Category Insight Specialist and work closely with colleagues in sales, marketing, and finance, as well as collaborate with European regional category and revenue growth teams. Success in this role requires strong analytical ability, the skill to translate insights into action, and the confidence to communicate and influence effectively across stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

Category Management & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement insight-driven category strategies aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Ensure category plans are embedded into joint customer strategies and deliver measurable growth.

Performance Monitoring & Insights:

  • Lead performance analysis using retailer and syndicated data, turning insights into clear action plans.
  • Monitor key metrics and ensure insights are communicated effectively across teams.

Range Reviews & Merchandising:

  • Lead range reviews, offering expert recommendations on assortment, space, and merchandising to optimise category performance.
  • Drive distribution growth and category improvement.

Customer Collaboration:

  • Build compelling selling stories and lead customer conversations at trade windows and key meetings, primarily with Swedish retailers, alongside KAMs and BMs.
  • Communicate with impact and influence senior customer and internal stakeholders.

Revenue Growth Management (RGM):

  • Develop and track pack, price, and promotional strategies, with a focus on optimal pricing, multi-buy offers, and single-product promotions.
  • Manage price corridors, evaluate promotion effectiveness, and recommend improvements based on data and insights.
  • Optimise trade spend investments in line with product, pricing, and channel strategies.

Strategic Projects:

  • Support go-to-market initiatives including innovation, renovation, pricing, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Partner with senior leadership on business planning and special projects.

Cultural Contribution:

  • Help build a culture where category insights and RGM performance are central to the commercial agenda.

What Does It Take to Be Successful?

We are looking for a commercially sharp, influential leader with excellent analytical and communication skills.

You should have:

  • Experience and Expertise: At least five years' experience in category management, revenue growth management, commercial intelligence, strategy, or finance, ideally within FMCG.
  • Language Skills: Fluent Swedish is required; Finnish is a plus.
  • Growth Mindset: A proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.
  • Leadership and Influence: Proven ability to lead teams and confidently communicate, influence, and engage senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Analytical and Commercial Skills: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with pricing, promotions, and revenue optimisation.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial P&L and commercial levers to drive growth.
  • Cross-Functional Agility: Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, international matrix environment.
