About the role
We're looking for a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative Contract Project Manager (PjM) to join the Visual Merchandising team within the Editorial Design Platform studio. In this role, you'll manage the end-to-end process for projects that support the client experience through visual design, ensuring timelines, communications, and deliverables are executed with excellence.
What you'll do
- Be the central point of contact between the Visual Merchandising team and cross-functional collaborators in the projects you lead (e.g., music editors, marketers, product managers, external vendors)
- Plan and track multiple design projects through different phases, ensuring clear milestones, on-time delivery, and progress visibility
- Collaborate with the working group to set realistic timelines and milestones, and adjust proactively when priorities shift
- Check in regularly with the team to ensure they have what they need to deliver
- Identify and solve blockers, escalate issues to the right owners when needed and together with the team discuss and propose solutions to mitigate risks
- Create and maintain project documentation, timelines, briefs, budgets, and status reports
- Monitor budget usage and flag any changes or needs to the Program Manager
- Organize and lead stakeholder touchpoints: kickoffs, design reviews, feedback loops, and handoffs
- Together with the other Project/Program Managers facilitate the VM team’s recurring rhythms (weekly planning, design critiques, etc.)
- Keep knowledge and information flowing seamlessly between the team, stakeholders, and leadership, ensuring the message is received and acted upon
- Communicate project status clearly and frequently to the working group, cross-functional partners, and VM leads
- Manage expectations and feedback cycles thoughtfully, looping in other disciplines when needed for specific input
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Design Managers, and Product Managers to align on process and ensure healthy cross-functional communication
- Help foster a smooth and inclusive way of working between VM and internal/external stakeholders
Who you are
- You have 3+ years of Project Management experience ideally within a design, creative or marketing environment.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and juggling multiple projects in different phases simultaneously
- A confident communicator who’s comfortable navigating ambiguity and finding clarity when needed.
- Excited to support a team that’s experimenting, evolving, and scaling visual identity across the company.
- Detail-oriented, process-minded, and passionate about delivering high-quality work on time
- Empathetic, people-centered, and enthusiastic about supporting creative work across the Globe.
