About MAG (in brief!)

At MAG Interactive we make mobile games that feel good. As a part of this fun and dynamic industry, it’s our mission to spread joy to players around the world. With over 350 million downloads globally, we credit our success to our awesome colleagues and we hope you'll join the team!

The Role - Product Lead

We are looking for a Product Lead to join one of our live game teams here at MAG. In this role, you’ll help nurture the game’s vision, set inspiring goals, and guide the team toward creating experiences our players truly love.

Teamwork is at the heart of everything we do at MAG. As Product Lead, you’ll support your teammates by bringing clarity, helping to prioritize tasks, and encouraging collaboration so that together you can find the best solutions. Your curiosity, analytical skills, and care for our players will give you a clear, big-picture view of the game, helping the team make thoughtful and impactful decisions.

You’ll also be the bridge between your team and the rest of the studio by sharing insights, celebrating progress, and making sure everyone’s aligned. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being at the center of the action, thrives on collaboration, and loves the idea of keeping a much-loved live game fresh, fun, and rewarding for our players.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Communicating vision and goals

  • Shape and share an inspiring vision for the game, making sure goals reflect both player needs and business objectives.
  • Keep the team and stakeholders aligned and moving in the same direction.

Planning and guiding the roadmap

  • Build and maintain a clear roadmap with the team, translating vision into achievable plans.
  • Help prioritize through stand-ups, retros, and planning sessions, keeping focus on what matters most.
  • Keep the backlog organized so the team can deliver smoothly.

Driving progress and supporting delivery

  • Track progress against goals, ensuring milestones and live game improvements stay on course.
  • Make thoughtful decisions to keep updates on schedule—finding the right balance between quality and timely delivery, so polishing doesn’t outweigh progress.
  • Spot challenges early, solve problems quickly, and make sure the team has what they need to succeed.
  • Encourage continuous improvements in how the team collaborates and delivers.

Connecting the dots across the studio

  • Act as the bridge between your team and the wider studio, sharing updates and celebrating wins.
  • Work closely with teams such as Marketing, UA, Backend, BI, and Management to align efforts, manage dependencies, and keep everyone moving forward together.

Championing teamwork and team health

  • Foster a supportive, collaborative team culture where ideas and learning are encouraged.
  • While 1:1s sit with the Head of Production, you’ll play a key role in day-to-day care and support making sure that the team is happy and working well together.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the games industry, with live games involving regular updates, new features, and ongoing improvements.
  • A proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to prioritize effectively and adapt when challenges arise.
  • Background in roles such as Producer, Game Designer, Product Owner, or Product Manager, with experience guiding teams and supporting collaboration.
  • Comfortable shaping roadmaps, setting inspiring goals, and maintaining a clear game vision.
  • Skilled in project management tools (we use Click-Up, but Jira or similar is welcome).
  • Strong relationship-builder who enjoys working closely with teams like BI, Marketing, and Design.
  • Curious and analytical, able to combine insights from multiple sources to guide decisions.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in small, close-knit environments.
  • A genuine passion for games, especially mobile.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with in-game economies in F2P games.
  • An eye for spotting opportunities and analyzing the overall “health” of a live game.

Perks and Benefits:

  • Generous company bonus
  • Company mobile phone and contract
  • Favorable pension and private health insurance package
  • Flexible work hours
  • Seasonal kick-offs
  • Gym allowance
  • Generous learning and development budget
  • Monthly after works
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Company wide carbon off-setting and CSR initiatives
