Job description
This work is part of the project NuMaP which is a Nuclear Materials Platform funded by the Swedish Energy Agency. Within the framework of this postdoc position, radiation induced processes on novel nuclear fuel cladding materials in contact with water will be studied experimentally. This is a collaboration between KTH in Stockholm and Chalmers in Gothenburg.

Qualifications
Requirements
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or other relevant subject area. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
- Research expertise demonstrated through publications in international scientific journals.
- Experience from experimental work in chemistry, chemical engineering or other relevant subject area.
- An interest to develop teaching abilities
Preferred qualifications
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
- We prefer that you have good collaborative abilities but also that you have developed independence.
- Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality
Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.

About the employment
The position offered is for, at the most, two years.
A position as a postdoctoral fellow is a time-limited qualified appointment focusing mainly on research, intended as a first career step after a dissertation.
