Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.
Einride is growing and we are looking for a Network Engineer to join our Tech organization. You will ensure our vehicles have reliable connection to our cloud services (using 5G, VPN, cloud VPCs etc). and be responsible for all things related to networking, maintenance, SW systems, calibrations, and on-going IT systems troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure our vehicles have reliable connection to our cloud services
- Develop vehicle internal network architecture
- Maintain our fixed network infrastructure
- Performance test network equipment
- Deploy infrastructure as code to automate deployments
Qualifications:
- Strong background in end to end communication and troubleshooting, preferably with wireless segments
- Strong network knowledge, experience in areas such as: Firewalling and access control (NFTables, IPTables, ACLs), Switching (802.1q VLANs, spanning tree), Routing (BGP, OSPF), Packet capture and analysis
- OpenVPN and Wireguard VPNs
- Regular user of Linux/Unix operating systems networking components and tools
- Self-starter capable of delivering results independently.
Nice to have:
- Experience with automation frameworks (Saltstack, Terraform)
- Knowledge in networking in GCP and understanding of cloud environments
- Wireless communication (5G, LTE, Wifi, 802.11r)
- Experience monitoring network performance/availability and performing ad hoc analysis
- Linux System Administrator knowledge
This is a full-time position based at our office in Gothenburg. Of course, we have a
modern and hybrid set-up that allows you to partly work from home but our expectations are that you also are present at our office in Gothenburg.
