About the job
This role acts as a bridge between data collection and data analysis. It ensures that tracking is implemented correctly, data is accurate, and that insights can be reliably generated. The role also supports business teams in understanding and interpreting data, helping them make informed, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Implement tracking solutions using GA4, GTM, and server-side tracking
- Conduct thorough tracking QA to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Work with consent platforms to ensure privacy-compliant data collection
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker Studio
- Contribute to attribution analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and marketers to support measurement needs
- Contribute to A/B test implementation and tracking setup
- Support tracking integration with tools like Contentsquare
Must have
- Google Tag Manager (GTM) – Practical skills in using GTM for tag configuration, triggers, variables, and integrating third-party tools.
- GA4 – Hands-on experience implementing and customizing Google Analytics 4, including event tracking and custom dimensions.
- Tracking QA – Ability to validate and troubleshoot data collection across platforms using tools like browser dev tools, GA debugger, or custom scripts.
- Looker Studio – Skills in building dashboards and reports in Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), including blending data sources and applying filters.
- Consent platforms – Experience working with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) to manage cookie banners and ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance.
- Server-side tracking – Familiarity with implementing server-side tagging (e.g., via GTM server container) to enhance tracking accuracy and privacy compliance.
Nice to have
- BigQuery / SQL – Strong experience using BigQuery and writing SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
- App tracking – Understanding of app analytics setup, including Firebase SDK integration, event tracking, and mobile app tag management.
- Contentsquare – Experience implementing and interpreting behavioral analytics from Contentsquare or similar tools (e.g., heatmaps, session replays).
- A/B testing experience – Practical knowledge of how to support A/B test setups through tracking plans, QA, and measuring experiment results.
- Attribution experience – Experience working with attribution models (e.g., last-click, data-driven) to evaluate the performance of different media channels and campaigns.
- Experience with subscription-based business models – Understanding key metrics and user flows common in subscription services (e.g., churn, retention, trial-to-paid).
