Material planner & S&OP Administrator

- Order materials within assigned responsibility areas in line with internal guidelines and procedures.
- Coordinate with Marketing regarding packaging design changes and ensure proper approvals.
- Contact Sourcing if materials lack contractual agreements.
- Follow up on order confirmations and update delivery dates in the system.
- Actively manage deviations in delivery times or quantities with suppliers, updating systems and escalating unresolved issues.
- Identify and address stock imbalances (both overstock and shortages).
- Proactively monitor material deliveries and take action on delays.
- Act as contact point for warehouse issues related to deliveries and booking.
- Collaborate with SAP support to resolve system-related issues, including those involving interfaces like PostNord.
- Ensure material availability for production through close collaboration with production planners.
- Independently coordinate material retrieval from external storage as per guidelines.
- Identify and address any material shortages affecting production and escalate unresolved issues.
- Participate in and co-lead supplier meetings for regular business updates and changes (e.g., design, artwork, specifications).
- Apply sufficient material knowledge to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the administrative process for forecast collection (FC) and upload within the S&OP framework.
- Prepare data files, follow up with the sales team, and ensure accurate upload of data into APO/SAP.
- High school diploma required; additional education in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in material planning, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
- Experience in supplier communication, warehouse/logistics, and working with external storage solutions is highly valued.
- Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP/APO preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions independently.
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple daily and ad-hoc tasks under tight timelines.
- A self-starter with a high attention to detail and curiosity for understanding processes and systems.
- Interest in supply chain flow and value chain optimization.
- Proactive and structured approach to work.
- Strong team player with flexibility and adaptability.
- Curious and eager to understand the full planning and production process and its impact on the business.
- Willing to take ownership and escalate issues when necessary.
