WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Junior Frontend Engineer, you will be an essential part of our software engineering team. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with 1-2 years of experience who are eager to work on exciting projects and learn from experienced engineers. Showcasing your programming skills, problem solving abilities, and willingness to learn is key.
In addition to the above, your role will involve:
- Help design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions under the guidance of senior developers.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to refining specifications.
- Contribute to a customer-facing web application used across several fashion brands.
- Work with headless CMSs, design systems, and other SaaS integrations.
- Engage in code reviews to learn best practices and improve your coding skills and team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Assist in identifying and resolving defects in existing applications.
- Learn about emerging technologies and tools to enhance your skills.
- Utilize mentorship, professional publications, and networking to improve your job competence.
- Strive for excellence and quality in delivering solutions that satisfy customer requirements.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and dedication to learning and contributing to the team.

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
- At least 1-2 years' experience working as a junior software engineer with strong front-end focus, particularly with Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Nice to have Next.js.
- Applicable relevant qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or examples of previous projects – whether academic, personal, or freelance.
- Basic understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Basic understanding of Github and CI/CD.
- Strive for excellence and quality in delivering solutions that satisfy customer requirements.
- Staying updated on emerging technology trends like API strategy, event-driven architecture, and cloud computing to contribute effectively to evolving technology strategies.
- Interest in e-commerce, user-facing products, or building accessible and responsive interfaces.
