We are looking for a "Junior Category Manager" in Supply Management for a global company in Västerås.
Start is in August 2025, 7 month's contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
We are looking for a driven and experienced Category Manager to join our Robotics production team in Västerås, Sweden. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier performance, developing sourcing strategies, and collaborating with global teams to support procurement activities. You will play a key part in optimizing cost, reducing risks, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Supply base daily management, including supplier performance management (On time delivery, quality, responsiveness, and lead time).
• Support the development and execution of a sourcing strategy and monitor supply market, both existing and new potential supplies, for assigned category.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage regular price change, supplier contract and documentation in systems.
• Drive cost optimization and active risk management in assigned category.
• Sourcing activities for new product introductions.
• Collaborate cross functionally mainly with R&D, Quality and Purchasing, and globally mainly with China and US to support team for assigned tasks.
- Experience with sourcing, supplier development, negotiations, and ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cross-functional and international teamwork is a strong plus.
- Fluency in Swedish is mandatory.*
This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Västerås. Start is in August 2025, 7 month's limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
