We are seeking an IT Engineer to assist in technical assistance and troubleshooting in our growing operation. The ideal candidate will need to have both the interpersonal skills to work with both technical and non-technical personnel while being able to own their respective project-based work. With the nature of a distributed organization some variation in work hours can occur.


Responsibilities

• Working on various projects to ensure IT is meeting their business deliverables (approximately 80% of their work)
• Solving tickets in a courteous, effective and efficient manner (approximately 30-35% of their work)
• Effectively collaborating with a distributed, global IT team and workforce
• Active role in the evolution of our on/offboarding process to accommodate the company growth
• Finding innovative ways to automate our processes to ensure the team can keep up with the growing business demands
• Provide relevant data points, reports and recommendations to IT leadership, as needed
• Administer, manage and improving our growing SaaS presence
• Ensuring equipment is properly inventoried, maintained and purchased
• Occasional travel, both domestic and international, may be required
• Some heavy lifting will be required

Experience

• At least 5 years of corporate experience with: 
• Endpoint OSes (including MacOS, Windows,Ubuntu, Android and iOS)
• Google Workspace
• General SaaS administration and management, including, but not limited to, Okta, Slack, O365, Github, Trello and Zoom  
• MDM solutions such as JAMF Pro
• Strong network troubleshooting skills (preferably Meraki infrastructure)
• Ticketing Systems experience (preferably Jira)
• Scripting
