As a Group Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in the business and you need to be able to establishing optimal business strategies and maintaining a good relationship to our suppliers and customers. Strong collaboration and communication skills are crucial for this position. You should also feel comfortable in a changing environment and be able to adjust your work depending on business needs.
Your area of responsibility will be to:
- Manage relationships with customers and key suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service, including conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Ensure all Supply Chain activities are in strict compliance with cGMP and GDP standards
- Improve Supply Chain data and efficiency, focusing on cost reduction, lean management and service level enhancements.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock with focus on Change in Inventory.
- Negotiate contracts and contract management
- Support and liaise with the Finance team, to ensure cross functional collaboration. Specifically, around material movements, inventory and their effect on the financial statements.
- Manage a team across operational sites in Denmark and Sweden.
- Oversee the storage, handling, and transportation of products to ensure they meet quality standards, including temperature-controlled logistics as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including local, national, and international standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and a supportive working environment.
We are looking for you who:
- Has at least 7 years of experience working with supply chain. Preferably in a managerial position.
- Has experience working within Life Science, or another chemical, industry.
- Has a bachelor degree in supply chain management, or a related field.
- Speaks English fluently. Proficiency in Swedish and/or Danish is meriting.
