We are looking for new employees to join our pursuit of ultimate performance. In this role, you will be working with the software that controls the body and comfort of the car, such as the famous “Ghost Mode” function.
The body controllers and the software that goes in them are fully developed in-house. It will be your mission, in close collaboration with your team, to formulate new concepts and algorithms for the body-related applications.
Main responsibilities:
- Actively support the design, implementation, integration and debugging low level and application-level software for in-house body controllers
- Support our production line, prototype, and service department
- Play an active role in the development of our ways of working
- Participate in various cross-functional projects between Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, Designers and Technicians
You will report directly to the Body Control & Comfort Team Lead and be located at our main production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden.
We are looking for someone that is naturally curious, eager to learn and passionate about developing embedded software from scratch. You thrive in small teams that operate in highly dynamic, cross-functional working environments and see every challenge as a learning experience.
Further skills needed:
- 3+ years of experience within embedded software engineering in C. Typically development, trouble-shooting for both low- and high-level embedded software in real-time environment
- Embedded systems debugging skills
- High standards for clean code quality, maintainability, and performance
- Knowledge of Git or similar version control system
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
- Professional level of English.
It would also be considered meritorious, but not required if you have:
- Previous Formula Student or Motorsport experience or similar project experience
- Knowledge of C++ and Python
- Knowledge of how a car and its systems and components work
- Experience working with CAN, LIN protocols and similar diagnostics and automotive tools and standards.
- Experience in working with ISO 26262 applications.
