Do you want to lead and develop Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Workshop at Nynas' refinery in Nynäshamn? We are looking for an experienced and driven E&I Workshop Manager to be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance operations that directly contribute to the refinery’s long-term success.
About the role
As E&I Workshop Manager, you will be part of the Maintenance Technical Services (MTS) team and have full responsibility for leading and developing a team of around 15 employees and consultants. You will oversee all workshop operations, from planning and scheduling to execution, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation systems are maintained and operating at peak performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the E&I workshop team to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance services.
- Planning, prioritizing, and executing work orders in line with operational requirements.
- Ensuring resources, tools, and equipment are available and optimally utilised.
- Managing the workshop budget and driving cost efficiency.
- Guaranteeing compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and company standards.
- Collaborating closely with other departments such as the Mechanical Workshop, Reliability Engineering, Inspection, Stores, and Production.
- Promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
You will report directly to the MTS Manager and play an important role in developing the maintenance strategy for the refinery.
About you
We are looking for a results-oriented leader with a strong technical background in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within industrial environments. You thrive in a leadership role, are structured and safety-focused, and know how to inspire and engage your team.
Your profile:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar management role, preferably within refinery, petrochemical, or other heavy industrial operations.
- Documented leadership experience with proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
- Proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
