Could you be the full-time onsite D&IS* Nordics Cluster Procurement Manager in Stockholm, SE we’re looking for?
Your scope will be within D&IS Product Line - the Alstom expert in developing, engineering, and installing advanced rail control and signaling systems, products and services for main line and mass transit operations. Our systems are key to the safety, efficiency, and capacity of railways, with millions of passengers relying on our systems daily but also responsible for wayside systems integration, integrating Alstom’s extensive, existing experience in this field and looking to further build-up capabilities.
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and multicultural teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in driving procurement excellence and securing supplier performance across quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, supply chain, quality, and accounting), support tender preparation by supervising procurement cost commitments, and manage and develop a diverse team of procurement professionals to achieve organizational goals and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Managing and developing a diverse procurement team, including Procurement Managers, PPMs, PTMs, and Buyers, while fostering a multicultural and inclusive environment,
- Representing procurement on-site as a member of the Site Management Committee and relaying key information or decisions impacting procurement activities,
- Acting as a liaison between the Procurement Function and Site operational members to ensure seamless collaboration,
- Supporting tender preparation by supervising procurement cost commitment preparation. ,
- Driving procurement performance by applying and supporting Alstom Procurement Golden rules, processes, and tools ,
- Supporting project execution by managing supplier QCD performances and resolving major issues to secure objectives,
- Tracking procurement performance in projects, analyzing risks, and setting mitigation plans to drive profitability.

- Degree in Business or Engineering, with a Master's in Purchasing. ,
- Familiarity with compliance standards, negotiation techniques, and risk mitigation strategies. ,
- Knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier markets, and technical aspects of commodities,
- Team management experience to inspire, motivate, and develop a multicultural team,
- Results-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and performance tracking,
- Strategic vision and ability to challenge internal and external stakeholders,
- Strong communication and leadership skills,
- Proficiency in English & Swedish.
