We are looking for a new marketing star to lead our marketing team and strategy, and further establish Furhat Robotics as the global leader in social robotics. Your mission will be to work with our small but established and experienced marketing team on driving all our marketing efforts, and make sure it is executed with world-class quality, on time, and on budget.
In this role, we expect you to combine high-level strategic thinking with working very hands-on together with the rest of the team, coordinating the day to day operations. We are proud to execute on most of our marketing work inhouse, and your motivation and willingness to engage in a wide range of tasks - as well as a strong passion for our company vision - will be a key factor in joining our team. Ideally, you have managed a team before, maybe even at a startup, and also have experience of recruiting new talents to a company.

As Marketing Manager, you will:
Be responsible for all digital and offline marketing activities to promote the vision, the product and the technology behind our robot platform, and the whole industry in general.
Work hands-on on a wide range of marketing tasks, supporting and executing wherever needed
Manage the overall marketing budget, including events and paid ads
Lead our marketing team, and work with the team members to create an engaging, energetic and meaningful work environment
Drive the marketing strategy and plan the overall work
Plan and execute together with our team the established Furhat Conferences with the research and innovation communities, our main customer base
Create a solid network of strategic partnerships such as journalists, influencers, as well as our customer's marketing departments
Listen to the market, set up metrics and track effectiveness and direct marketing efforts. We believe in results-driven marketing, and the need to track all marketing activities with KPIs that are coordinated with sales
Skills & Requirements
To be an ideal candidate, you must have:
+3 years experience in marketing in tech-related industries
Clear career growth trajectory showing exceptional potential
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest for technology
Hands-on mindset, with the passion to do things yourself, from posting to social media, to filming at internal and external events, to learning a new tool very quickly to solve a problem
Experience in modern digital marketing tools to improve lead generation and conversion, and support our sales team.
We expect you to have experimented with most of the well known AI tools for marketing that have come to market the last 18 months.
Thorough knowledge of marketing principles and market research methods
Excellent communication skills, story-telling ability and interpersonal abilities
Please note that we are looking for someone early in their career, who has both hunger, work ethic dedication, and growth potential. We are not looking for a very senior marketing executive who has already reached their full potential.
It would be great if you also have:
Near native/bilingual proficiency in English
Experience in marketing to academic and research audience
Previous experience working with startups
Experience working with robots or conversational systems
Hands-on communication skills such as visual design, copywriting, photography
Built your own website and sold products online
An active social media presence and are a content creator yourself
