Role overview
We’re looking for a Creative Copywriter equally comfortable with writing high-performance ad copy as with coming up with strategic content and campaign ideas. You’ll play a key role in shaping brand voices, developing creative concepts and delivering copy that works across everything from big campaigns to day-to-day digital assets.
This role is split (approx. 50/50) between Klingit’s internal marketing team and our client-facing creative team, and you’ll work both strategically and hands-on. You’ll work closely with our team of copywriters, art directors, designers, and project managers to bring all kinds of ideas to life for a wide range of clients, as well as our internal marketing team.
Key responsibilities
Klingit Internal Brand (50%)
- Own the written part of the content stream for Klingit’s channels, from ideation to publishing, SoMe captions to long-form content.
- Generate creative content ideas based on SEO strategy and turn them into high-impact blog posts, landing pages and articles.
- Come up with ad concepts and make them come to life in collaboration with the team, or sometimes simply write ad copy based on existing concepts.
- Define, document, and champion Klingit’s tone of voice across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency in every channel.
- Take full ownership of all web copy on Klingit’s website, including updates, consistency across pages, and coordination of translations.
Client-Facing Creative Work (50%)
- Lead copy development for a wide range of client deliverables, including campaigns, websites, landing pages, product descriptions, ads, emails, and more.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand brand tone, messaging goals, and business objectives, presenting and articulating copy direction with confidence.
- Lead creative ideation for brand campaigns and marketing concepts; either independently or in collaboration with designers, strategists, and art directors.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all written output by aligning copy with brand identity, audience, and best practices for each channel.
- Adapt messaging across formats and tones – from B2B to B2C, short-form to long-form – always maintaining clarity, creativity, and strategic intent.
What we're looking for
Things needed to thrive in the role:
- Native Swedish and excellent English skills, comfortable crafting standout copy in both languages.
- 3+ years of experience as a copywriter or creative, whether in-house, at an agency or freelance.
- A strong portfolio of work that spans creative campaigns, brand messaging, and multi-channel copy.
- Being a collaborative team player who communicates clearly and works well with strategists, designers, and clients.
- Always paying attention to details and taking pride in producing high-quality, thoughtful work.
- Being an organized, focused, and solutions-oriented person, able to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Being AI-savvy (AI-enhanced creativity is sort of our thing!)
