About the role
In this role, you will work closely with our corporate strategy and corporate development leaders, as well as with the different stakeholders globally within the business units and regional organizations of the company. We collaborate with several consulting firms, investment banks, and analytics companies to evaluate different opportunities.
We believe that you are skilled in preparing impactful perspectives to assess and enhance our strategy, as well as to create and prepare materials for driving important decisions by top management and the board of directors. During transactions you will also lead and support different analysis and workstreams, including conducting diligences and supporting the advancement of potential negotiations.
This is an important role within Sinch and there is a significant opportunity to leave a legacy through building processes and systems, truly having a structural impact on how the Strategy and M&A team is built and run moving forward.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support strategic framing, strategy projects, and formulating corporate strategy
- Lead and support M&A activities, extending across the transaction lifecycle
- Support top management and the board of directors with important decision support
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve our strategic trajectory and ways of working
- Manage team tools, including transaction pipelines, competitive intelligence, and more
About you
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have experience from strategy and transaction activities, preferably from Financial Services or from a Consulting Firm. You have excellent people and communication skills and an ability to gain rapport with stakeholders. You are also a driven self-starter with the ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- About 2-5 years of experience from a similar role from an investment bank, management consulting firm, or related industry
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial statements
- Strong interest in Software and Tech industry
- Degree in business, economics, or engineering or related field
- Fluency in English is a requirement, other languages are a plus
