What we do:
The Trade Desk is seeking a senior sales representative to expand our presence in the Nordic region.
We are a highly entrepreneurial, strategic, and commercially driven team where you will be responsible for securing new business while fostering long-term strategic partnerships with both agencies and direct clients. The role reports to the Senior Director Business Development, Nordics.
We serve as a consultative partners, helping brands and agencies navigate the evolving advertising landscape, solve major challenges, and unlock new opportunities through data-driven media strategies.
What you'll do:
- Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with senior client leadership
- Work cross-functionally with client services and trading teams to cultivate accounts
- Communicate the value of our media buying platform by walking through detailed demonstrations of the product
- Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
- Take the lead in responding to RFP’s or new inner agency opportunities, including qualification & win strategy
- Lead global account discussions with counterparts in other regions
- Work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals
- Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unrivaled selling propositions and differentiators
- Optimize client advertising investments and growing the business
Who you are:
- Business fluent in Swedish and English (any other of the Nordic languages is a bonus)
- Proven track record of outbound sales in online advertising
- Experience working across the Nordic region
- Programmatic experience at an online publisher, SSP, DSP, or other online advertising roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients
- Experience establishing long-standing, consultative client relationships
- Existing relationships with decision-makers at major holding companies is a plus
- Strong quantitative skills and negotiation’s ability
- Consistent record of exceeding revenue expectations
- Able to travel occasionally for business and internal meetings/trainings
