As we continue our quest to democratise financial services, we are now looking for an inspiring Android developer to join one of our Teams shaping up the Payments solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with a group of passionate people (product managers, app- developers, QAs and many more) working on making our Merchants' everyday experience best-in-class. A glimpse of what you would get here:
Payment Experience team is working on an SDK allowing our merchants to make card payments in our apps and partner apps with our card readers. You'll be in close contact with other engineers and designers to create a tailored user experience for our merchants and partners. You will be working with card reader devices and all sorts of credit cards from different brands and markets. You will be able to collaborate with other teams and Android developers across the whole Android chapter, by code reviews, bouncing ideas or mob programming (we're big fans!).

Typical day in the role:
- Design, implement and maintain features with a high degree of autonomy for Android SDK
- Collaborating with other teams and be ready to help our SDK integrators.
- Take an active part in system design
- Work on interesting problems together with talented peers in cross-functional agile teams
- Experiment and learn about design, technology, and processes.
- Ensure a high level of quality, usability, and maintainability of the (reusable) components and code.
Skills
- You have 5+ years of Android development experience and have a good knowledge of both Kotlin and Java
- You worked with MVI (or Redux) architecture, or you are interested in learning it.
- You have a quality first mindset and are eager to write tests, care for the overall performance of the product.
- Interested in keeping up to date with the latest technological development.
- You have experience or interest in working with Bluetooth and hardware.
