The Role:

We are seeking an Account Manager to help manage existing customer relationships and develop new accounts across the Nordics, Baltics and Southern Europe. This role is ideal for someone with experience from selling to medium size and large enterprise accounts both in the public and private sector.

Job Title: Account Manager – Enterprise (Optical Equipment)
Location: Stockholm (covering Nordics, Baltics & Southern Europe, travelling will be required)
Type: Full-time
Industry: Telecommunications & Large Enterprise

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Identify and target new opportunities within the enterprise space to expand our customer base.
  • Understand clients' needs and offer tailored solutions involving optical equipment like transceivers and networking systems.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Smartoptics’ products and the industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met effectively and on time.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales reports as needed.
  • Attend industry events, meetings, and presentations to represent Smartoptics and network with potential clients.

What We're Looking For:

  • An enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to grow their career in sales, with prior experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Background in telecommunications, technology, or enterprise sales is a requirement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with new technologies and interested in developing a career in sales and account management.
  • A degree in engineering, business, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred but not required.
