Sales Operations Manager

Tacton is enabling Smart Commerce for manufactures around the globe. We have embarked on an exciting growth journey and are currently looking for a Sales Operations Manager who can help us boost the performance of our sales team. The Sales Operations Manager has end-to-end ownership of the sales process, including its implementation, governance and execution.

You are the trusted partner with Tacton Regional SVP Sales to help identify and execute improvements to sales training, processes, and strategy. We need someone that can think strategically and execute programmatically. You are able to build relationships within the Sales organization, identify gaps and opportunities and deliver the resources, tools, and assets the team needs to sell successfully.

The scope of the role extends across the entirety of the sales funnel – leads, opportunities, sales, upsell, renewals and time to go-live. This will give management a complete picture of business performance for the wider Sales function.

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness. Plan and execute the tactical elements of sales to develop best practices and continuously improve effectiveness.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop processes, policies and best-in-class systems for scalable growth.
  • Own sales systems and tools from a business perspective, this includes management and prioritization of new systems, functionality, & enhancements. It also includes enablement, training and support for all sales systems and tools.
  • Work with and support various stakeholders to analyze business needs, elicit requirements and design solutions that enable the business to achieve its objectives, improve user experience, and drive system adoption
  • Develop data-driven insights and provide recommendations to Senior Sales Management on pipeline, segmentation, territory management, and sales motion, both globally and per region.
  • Partner with Tacton Regional SVPs to develop annual goals, incentives, budget and quota and on driving day-to-day execution
The desired skills and experience
  • Excellent Analytical skills – experience data modelling and dashboarding. Ability to deeply interrogate and manipulate data. Confidence and curiosity to understand the implications of the results, and the ability to recommend and present solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes (sales cycle, sales processes, forecasting and pipeline management, renewals, reporting and analysis, territory management, pricing, budgeting and incentive compensation)
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce CRM and other sales tools such as DocuSign, LinkedIn Navigator, marketing automation tool e.g. Pardot
