About the role
As a new Quality & Environmental Specialist, you would join the Global Operational Support team and report to the Global Quality & Process Manager. You would work closely with the local Quality & Control Managers in our four plants, implementing our new management system for quality and environmental control. You will also support all four sites in Sweden (Umeå), France, USA and China in our initiatives related to operational excellence and Lean Manufacturing.

In your role you will work with our plan to get all sites certified according to ISO 14001:2015 in the coming years. Examples of responsibilities are developing processes for continuous improvement and change control as well as executing environmental aspect analyses and training for co-workers. You will also lead internal audits as a quality and environmental expert. Another important part of the job is the GDPR responsibility where auditing our personal data processing is the main activity. The position is full-time until further notice and located in Umeå, Sweden.

Your profile
We think you have an Bachelor’s degree in Quality & Environmental Engineering or equivalent area and at least five years working experience within quality and environmental field. We see that you have experience in conducting quality and environmental audits according to ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015. Have you also experience of GDPR implementation and related compliance assurance, we see it as meritorious. The role is global and therefore we assume that you have good knowledge of English.

You are structured, meticulous and organized. Since you will work with many different internal contacts, it is important that you have good communication and cooperation skills. Furthermore, we think it is important that you appreciate to work with establishing routines and processes and are persistent in completing your work tasks.
