Our Creative Studio

The Creative Studio team is an inspiring group of creatives that develop, construct and execute the product communication and design process in its entirety, beginning to end. This includes everything from project managing and planning to creating concepts, initiating visual expressions, executing productions, and enhancing a beguiling flow of aspirational material for Oriflame's products in all channels — worldwide. Simply put, we create and guide a vision for our products, supporting it with a flourish of content and inspirational words. One part of The Creative Studio is our Packaging design & Artwork department who are the ones in charge of creating the expressions and packaging executions for all our brands. This also includes development of brand platforms, creation of new brands and visual directions . We are also heavily involved in shaping the overall Oriflame corporate identity and how it will be used in all our channels.

Oriflame is now looking for a Graphic Designer to further strengthen our Global Creative Studio!

What will you do?

As a Graphic Designer you will join our team on the journey to further increase the impact and business relevance of our brands and their design on a global level. You will be part of creating strategic designs with high visual impact. The role involves working on Oriflames corporate identity and our Brand DNA as well as working with identity and packaging design on product brand level. All work is done in close collaboration not only with your colleagues in Design and Artwork Team but also with Packaging Development and of course our internal clients. Together we always strive towards delivering outstanding and best in class design and concepts. Always on market trends to push our brands and exceeding the expectaions of our Brand Partners and consumers.

Your responsibilities

Always strive to improve and innovate the design and tonality of Oriflames brands
Create strong engaging, emotional packaging design through utilizing the work process in collaboration with the direct team
Analyze and add insights from a Design perspective to client briefs and support debrief meetings and creative workshops to further sharpening and clarifying the clients’ goal
Analyze structural packaging and print technologies and challenge it for best brand and design performance
Always use innovation- and trend forecasting tools to define the idea
Be in control of extensibility and navigation of a category/line-up
Take responsibility for several projects running in parallel – delivering high quality work on time is key
Presenting ideas, communicating written/spoken and when receiving feedback in an engaging way
Work closely with the Project Managers/Design Strategists for meeting time plans and smooth collaboration
Be in control of technical details

You have excellent technical knowledge of structural and graphical design, materials and finishes. The work demands passion for the design industry, foremost within the world of beauty, a deep understanding of Scandinavian aesthetics and creative flair as well as a professional approach to time, costs, collaboration, alignment and deadlines. Apart from being a brilliant designer you are also part of enhancing our culture based on a hands-on positive can-do attitude. Nothing is impossible, all can be done and it’s up to us to shape our joint future.

Your background

Must haves:
Expert in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, In Design and Adobe acrobat professional
At least 3 - 5 years of experience in similar position preferably from an Identity- and design agency.
Degree in Graphic Design, Art or related field
Good knowledge of industry materials and finishes
Passion for tonality and Design, Scandinavian aesthetics, fashion and beauty
Detailed oriented, creative, flexible, and self-motivated
Fluent in English (both written and oral) as this is our daily working language

Preferable:
A Bachelor or Master in Design or Art School
Excellent presentation skills
Some experience of structural design
Experience of creating 3D designs/mock ups
Experience in beauty fashion/social selling
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
