This role is within our Checkout & Checkout Compliance team, where you'll work on multiple features of the POS. It's an exciting opportunity to tackle impactful technical challenges alongside talented peers in a cross-functional and agile team. Here, you’ll be contributing to the creation of modern products that positively impact people's lives and contribute to the success of millions of merchants worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Contribute to technical leadership through code reviews and design discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Implement high-performance RESTful services focusing on scalability and reliability.
- Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable solutions.
- Ensure efficient data handling using ORM tools like Hibernate.
Must Haves
- Advanced proficiency in Java.
- Strong expertise in Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing high-performance RESTful services.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with ORM tools like Hibernate.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Nice to Haves
- Experience in mentoring engineering teams.
- Familiarity with design patterns and optimization techniques.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
