As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll be part of our Warehouse Team,
reporting to the Warehouse and Workshop Manager as you ensure the efficient flow of materials, tools, and equipment that keep our operations running. In this dynamic and hands-on role, you’ll support internal workshops, collaborate across departments, and contribute to continuous improvements that help us build a smarter and more sustainable industrial supply chain.
What you’ll do:
- Manage incoming and outgoing goods, warehouse organization, and inventory of critical spare parts
- Operate various machinery and vehicles including forklift, tractor, and overhead crane
- Support internal workshops through high-quality service, tool and machine loan systems, and smart storage solutions
- Maintain and develop inventory systems, including registration of new items and removal of obsolete stock
- Collaborate with a team of 10 and work cross-functionally with departments across the company
- Ensure ongoing dialogue with suppliers regarding deliveries, new products, and innovative storage solutions
- Participate actively in continuous improvements and quality assurance processes, especially around repairable items and chemical handling
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in warehouse work, retail, or inventory handling; Background in mechanical or technical trades is a plus.
- High school diploma in relevant field or other equivalent education is preferred.
- Certifications such as forklift, crane, or welding are highly desirable.
- Strong customer service mindset; Previous experience with client-facing roles is an advantage.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented attitude, with an interest in industrial environments and continuous improvement.
- EU Drivers license is mandator.
- Proficiency in English; Swedish language skills are advantageous.

About Stegra
Stegra is on a mission to change the global steel industry by producing green hydrogen, iron, and steel - with the goal of eliminating CO₂ emissions. Instead of coal, we use green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity, meaning our primary emissions will be water and heat.
By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitized, and sustainable plant in Boden, Northern Sweden - currently under construction. But this is just the beginning. Our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize industries beyond steel, paving the way for a cleaner future.
