- Responsible for leading assigned sourcing activities, projects and initiatives in the market
- As an expert in strategic sourcing, responsible for sharing knowledge with colleagues and business partners to support their competence development
- Contribute to the global improvement projects and the development of global and market sourcing process, ways of working, tools and working method
- Responsible for ensuring that the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda is included in all aspect of the business directly connected to and influenced by Strategic Sourcing
In order to thrive and be successful in this role we believe that you have an education in Economics, Logistics, Business Administration or relevant working experience from strategic sourcing. You bring 2-4 years of experience working in a sourcing environment. With that you also have experience in developing business development roadmaps, contract management, negotiations, business analysis and project management. You have good knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing the logistics fulfilment industry.
You have knowledge in following areas:
Furthermore you are passionate about understanding the IKEA business and customer needs to influence improvement with focus on customer satisfaction. Naturally you share the IKEA vision, values and culture. As a person you have good communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative mind-set in building relationships across the organisation. Your response to business and customer needs is strong and you have an end-to-end orientation and the ability to act within the global framework in order to achieve local/market/organisation goals.

“The hardest, but also most fun thing about the job is that no day is really the same. A large part of the work involves being in contact with all our last mile transportation partners, solving the problems that may arise in the business and developing it in the direction that IKEA need – at as low a cost as possible with good quality and satisfied customers. We also collaborate a lot internally with the various functions within IKEA, we can often contribute with expertise in both our internal ways of working as well as the transport industry and its cost components. Competence in transport is something I think is very important for a Sourcing Developer.
The financial mind is also something that is important in our everyday lives as we are responsible for all costs related to our business, and we spend a lot of time analyzing and following up on the cost piece together with our Sourcing Analyst and BNO. Last but not least, negotiations are of course something that is important in the work. We often negotiate, both internally and externally, which is something I think you have to think is fun to thrive in the role of Sourcing Developer.
So, bottom line: A lot of analysis, negotiation and a lot of collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.”

The position is fulltime and permanent with start date according to agreement. This role is located at Service Office in Helsingborg and a considerable share of travels are expected. In this role you will report to the Fulfilment Sourcing Manager.
