About the role:
Aspia is seeking an experienced Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our HR team! This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation and benefits strategies across our group, which spans six countries. As Compensation & Benefits Manager at Aspia you will ensure these strategies align with Aspias business objectives to attract and retain top talent. Additionally, the role includes ownership of the Global Job Catalogue and compensation framework as well as managing Aspia Sweden’s internal payroll team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Aspias global C&B area to ensure our growth and profitability as well as leading a highly competent and warm internal payroll team for Sweden.
Reporting and Collaboration:
In the role of Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will report directly to the CHRO of Sweden, with a secondary reporting line to the Group CHRO as well as being a part of Aspia's HR leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation & Benefits Strategy:
- Develop and manage global and local compensation programs, including base salary, bonus plans, and other incentives.
- Regularly benchmark and analyze the market to ensure Aspia maintains a competitive reward structure.
- Partner with senior leadership to support the annual salary and bonus processes.
- Advise Senior Leaders & HR Business Partners on compensation-related matters.
- Oversee the Job Catalogue, compensation frameworks, and role grading.
- Design and manage employee benefits programs such as health insurance and pension schemes in Sweden, and support other countries as needed.
- Stay updated on benefit trends and employee feedback to ensure offerings remain competitive and relevant.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Continuously develop processes to improve effectiveness.
- Utilize HRIS and other tools to analyze data and generate actionable insights on compensation and benefits metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all Swedish regulations as well as common EU regulations.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead the Sweden Internal Payroll Team (3 FTEs).
- Collaborate across countries and service lines to ensure the Reward Strategy aligns with business goals.
Who are you?
We believe that a suitable background for this position is that you have:
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a specialist in compensation and benefits, including at least 2 years managing a team.
- Proven track record of excellent leadership skills and stakeholder management.
- Extensive experience with HR systems (preferably Workday) and Excel, with the ability to communicate and present data effectively.
- Experience with multi-country job structures and reward processes is a plus.
- Experience operating in a matrix structure.
- Excellent coaching skills
- Leadership skills and genuine interest in developing others
- You are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
