We are seeking an experienced and high-performing Senior Account Executive to join our Enterprise Sales team in Stockholm. In this pivotal role, your primary focus will be on closing new enterprise clients, with a strong emphasis on broadcasters and digital publishers. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in complex enterprise sales, consistently meeting and exceeding targets, and a deep understanding of the media and publishing landscapes.
The role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by:
Driving Revenue Growth: Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within the enterprise segment, particularly across broadcasting and digital publishing verticals, to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within large enterprise accounts, with a focus on understanding the unique needs of media and publishing clients.
Negotiation & Contracting: Leading complex negotiations, working closely with legal teams to close deals that meet both client and company requirements.
Pipeline Management: Effectively managing and forecasting sales opportunities, keeping accurate records of prospecting activities and ongoing deals in our CRM system.
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborating with marketing and product to develop tailored sales initiatives, leveraging your insights into the specific enterprise accounts within the media and publishing sectors.
Reporting & Analytics: Providing detailed sales reports and account status updates to the leadership team, identifying risks and opportunities.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Partnering with technical teams and customer success to ensure successful onboarding and long-term client satisfaction, fostering strong internal alignment.
Account Planning: Contributing to detailed plans for key accounts, outlining strategies for growth, cross-sell, and upsell.
Market & Industry Expertise: Staying highly informed on industry trends, especially within broadcasting and digital publishing, and understanding the competitive landscape.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
Deep understanding of and a robust network within the Media (including Broadcasting, Production) or Digital Publishing verticals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with senior executives and key decision-makers.
Proven experience in leading complex negotiations with enterprise-level clients.
Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage sales pipelines and reporting, and familiarity with other relevant systems (e.g., Ironclad, Jira).
