YOUR ROLE
As Quality Manager at Orbital Launch & Rocket Tests (OLRT) you will build and develop our quality work, quality processes, quality policy, and alignment against SSCs global management system, GMS, together with SSC head of quality. Main goal is to maintain high level and compliance with quality standards for our deliverables and daily work within organization and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, tailor, lead, implement and maintain quality work and audits, quality processes and other related needs within OLRT.
- Supporting management and OLRT on quality matters.
- Monitoring of development regarding quality standards etc. within OLRT.
- Perform constant quality improvements within OLRT.
- Working with development of OLRT according to requirements in ISO 9001 and SSC strategy.
- Aligning SSCs processes to create efficient ways of working within OLRT regarding quality.
- Development of quality governance within the division.
- Representing OLRT in escalating quality matters with customers
- Development of internal quality related procedures.
- Training OLRT staff in quality methods and procedures when needed.
WHO YOU ARE
We seek a senior Quality Manager with a passion for development and people. We see that experiences and abilities from the general technical industry is equally valuable as experiences from the space industry.
You will be the quality resource at our division that will support us in developing and building our quality processes from start. Your experience will help prioritize efforts, focusing on scalable, reliable solutions while avoiding unnecessary complexities and risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Extended knowledge of quality management systems.
- Good knowledge of quality standards ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001.
- 5-10 years of experience as a quality manager or otherwise equal positions.
- Experience of internal and external audits within quality.
- Experience of working in a larger organization.
- Effective operational proficiency in the English language - High level of spoken and written English.
- Solution focused and proactive mindset.
- Effective communication skills.
- Relation builder and networker, a good team player.
Additional requirements:
- Effective operational proficiency in the Swedish language - High level of spoken and written Swedish.
- Experiences working with Risk Management.
- Valid B driver’s license
- Swedish citizenship is an advantage but not a must.

LOCATION
