Smart Eye is leading the global market for Driver Monitoring Systems, which will soon be a standard component in every car. Monitoring the driver behavior is safety critical both for normal driving as well as for autonomous driving. We are now conducting an exciting and important research project together with VTI, Statens Väg och -transportforskningsInstitut, regarding intoxication while driving. This project takes place at Mantorp Park test track. The project has non-traditional hours with rotating shifts, everything between 6am to 4am. Your work day will be taking care of and assisting test persons before and after their data collection drive in the car. For this research project we are now looking for Support Staff from approximately week 43 until 45 this autumn.

As a Project Support Staff, you are for example welcoming our data collection subjects, making sure they know the basics about the test track and its facilities, handing out questionnaires and other lighter administrative tasks as well as making sure our intoxicated data collection subjects get safely to and from the data collection car on the test track as well as to their pickup person again after the completed data collection. It will be you that is representing Smart Eye to our data collection subjects and it is important that you have a friendly, flexible and care taking attitude.
This position is based on-site at the test track. You must have own transportation means to take yourself to work and back home again according to your then dedicated shift schedule, which could be in the middle of the night.
Location: Mantorp Park, close to Linköping
Must-have-skills:
- Comfortable operating after hours with minimal support.
- Comfortable with being in close proximity to intoxicated individuals.
- Communication skills in English and Swedish.
- Access to own transportation means to get to Mantorp Park even at unconventional hours if you should have the night shift
Work tasks:
- Welcome and take care of date collection subjects before and after the data collection.
- Lighter administrative tasks
- Provide basic information and training to data collection subjects regarding Test facility and the overall running of the data collection for the specific data collection subject.
- Assisting Smart Eye Test Leaders when needed with non-technical tasks.
- Be a proactive team member, contributing solutions and helping others as necessary.
