About the Role: Project Manager in Renewable Energy Innovation
As a Project Manager at SeaPattern, you will play a critical role in delivering high-impact technical projects from concept through to implementation. You will have ownership over project planning, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and successful project delivery, ensuring that key milestones are achieved on budget and within set timelines.
This role requires someone who is hands-on yet strategic, thrives in dynamic environments, and has a proven ability to navigate technical, regulatory, and operational challenges. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, product, and leadership teams to drive the rollout of SeaPattern’s renewable energy solutions both within Sweden and internationally.
Main Responsibilities – Project Management in Clean Energy
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of R&D and technical projects from planning to implementation.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, schedules, and key deliverables.
- Identify project risks and mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive management of obstacles affecting deliverables.
- Act as the key point of contact between technical teams, external partners, and key stakeholders (including regulatory bodies, suppliers, and customers).
- Monitor and report regularly on project progress, maintaining transparency with dashboards and clear documentation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve project delivery processes and efficiency.
- Facilitate effective and inclusive communication within teams, embracing diverse perspectives and fostering collaboration.
Required Qualifications – Experience in Managing Technical Projects
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ professional experience managing complex technical or engineering projects, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or a related clean tech sector.
- Proven ability to deliver projects to timelines and budgets, with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills: a relationship builder who can communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams and driving results in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management within energy or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Proficient in project management tools and software; certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP) is a plus.
