Ocean Infinity is seeking an Operational Survey Tech Superintendent, with a focus on operational efficiency, innovation and culture within the Survey Tech Dept. Along with implementing standardised operational processes to enable automation were possible.
What will you do:
- Drive operational efficiency through continuous process optimisation;
- Develop and implement innovative workflows aligned with Ocean Infinity’s future operating model;
- Onboard and train Survey Tech engineers in our ways of working, including field support during mobilisations and port calls;
- Act as a line manager for operational engineers;
- Mentor engineers to ensure consistent standards and practices across vessels;
- Foster a strong and forward-thinking culture within the Survey Tech Department;
- Support the maintenance of technical documentation for survey equipment and related systems;
- Oversee documentation and inventory control for spare parts;
- Lead the management and lifecycle tracking of survey sensor equipment;
- Collaborate with other departments to improve and innovate on equipment and workflows for commercial projects;
- Provide visible leadership on implementation of the Ocean Infinity Integrated Management System (IMS);
- Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standard;
- Participate in audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Support the development of safe working procedures and team competencies.
Who you are:
- Technical or engineering background in mechanical or electrical systems;
- Minimum 5 years’ offshore experience in Survey, ROV, or AUV operations;
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams;
- Valid passport and full driving licence;
- Familiar with quality management systems, HSE procedures, and asset documentation;
- Self-driven and proactive, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
- Interested in others and committed to team success;
- Able to take ownership and accountability for work;
- Receptive to new ideas and open to change;
- Operates with integrity and maturity;
- Skilled in managing time and priorities in fast-paced environments.
Desirable:
- Previous line management experience;
- Familiarity with digitalisation and automation in offshore operations;
- Experience with remote and/or uncrewed vessel operations;
- Understanding of fleet-wide operational standardisation.
Salary for this position: up to 1,140,000 SEK per annum
Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
