This is an exciting time to join Vysus Group as we expand our global presence, supporting a diverse mix of clients on impactful, forward-looking projects. Be part of our growth journey and take your career to the next level alongside our talented international team.

As a leading engineering and technical consultancy, we specialise in asset performance, risk management, and project execution across complex industrial and energy sectors — including oil & gas, nuclear, renewables, and the wider energy transition.

The Role: Nuclear Consultan, Malmö

We are looking for a Nuclear Consultant to join our growing nuclear team in Malmö. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to develop their expertise within the nuclear industry.

Our team delivers a wide range of nuclear safety and risk analysis projects, supporting nuclear power plants as well as other nuclear and non-nuclear facilities and authorities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing hazard analyses, especially related to radiation hazards

  • Conducting deterministic and probabilistic safety studies

  • Supporting licensing-related assignments

  • Using specialised tools and software for the nuclear industry

With a growing demand for our services, we’re strengthening our team to deliver innovative solutions for clients in Sweden and around the world.

Why Now?

The nuclear industry is entering a new era of growth, driven by rising interest in both large-scale reactors and small modular reactors (SMRs). Meanwhile, existing plants need to remain safe and reliable, creating a strong demand for skilled professionals across the nuclear supply chain. Vysus Group is expanding to meet this need and support both existing and new clients in this dynamic market.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • An MSc degree in risk management, nuclear engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience writing reports and delivering professional presentations.

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience analysing systems to determine hazards, risks, and appropriate mitigation measures.

  • A driver’s license, as travel to client sites may be required.

What We Offer

  • Work as part of a global, multidisciplinary team on exciting and meaningful projects.

  • Opportunities to shape the future of nuclear energy and help grow new business areas.

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.

  • Flexible working arrangements.

This is your chance to join a forward-thinking team at the forefront of nuclear innovation. Make an impact with us and apply today.
